Supervisors must hold valid Lifeguard Training, CPR and all required Pool Operator’s Licenses for their area of responsibility throughout their term of employment.
Ensure all staff perform duties as assigned, abide by the Premier Guard Safety Code of Conduct and enforce the Universal Swimming Pool Rules at all facilities.
Supervisors are responsible for meeting and training all staff and preparing pool by 5/25/2011.
Supervisors are required to work 6 days per week, and accessible by telephone at all times.
Supervisors should be on duty in their areas between the hours of 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM, and ready to respond to emergencies that occur outside of these hours.
Supervisors will be scheduled to be off one day per week. Days off will be determined based on the area they are assigned and will be a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. In order for a supervisor to receive their day off, all shifts must be staffed and a copy of that day’s schedule must be turned in to either of the Regional Managers.
Pool management is a service oriented business; therefore supervisors are expected to abide by “The customer is always right” policy.
Supervisors have the ability to hire or terminate lifeguards for due cause. However, all salaries, including salary adjustments, must be approved by Executive Management
All area supervisors are required to attend a mandatory Friday morning meeting each week at 8:00 AM. Supervisors will meet regularly with their Regional Managers during the week. Frequency will be determined by job performance and any issues or problems in the supervisor’s area.
Schedule and staff all shifts. Handle all emergency staffing situations. An example of this would be when a lifeguard calls out sick or is involved in a car accident.
Meet with on-site contacts in person at least three times per week. This includes property managers, leasing consultants, maintenance personal and/or board members.
Complete three written inspection reports for each pool per week. At least two inspections must be signed by a property representative.
Return all messages and phone calls in a timely manner.
Open a pool(s) each day starting at 10:00 AM. Open all that are possible or whenever necessary. Observe the closing of every pool twice per month.
Carry all applicable lifeguarding/CPR/Pool Operators certs at all times
